Just got the Fall 2010 sample in at the store and it is phenomenal! Tulle and flowers! Gorgeous!  It also has a ‘fantasy’ shoulder strap that you can add after the ceremony! I love when you can customize your dress to make it a little different for the reception.

A recent trend with brides is adding color to their attire in some way. The most popular is adding colored shoes….blue, pink, even red. It’s an easy way to have your “something blue” or coordinate with your attendants. One of our current brides is incorporating an Asian theme into her wedding because her husband-to-be is of Chinese heritage. She is wearing red shoes and they look perfect with the gown! Some brides may go for a more traditional look during the ceremony and then change things up for the reception. Last week one of our brides came to her fitting with the most gorgeous antique necklace which had deep, deep purple stones and a brooch enhancer……she is only wearing this for the reception after she takes off her veil and it looked stunning! Just a unique touch that will definitely stand out against her white gown. Varying looks almost give the appearance of a ‘2nd’outfit just like celebrities Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguilera, without breaking the budget!

Danielle, our little beauty!

Look at our very own Danielle modeling one of our custom gowns.  We’ve named this gown “September”.  We lined this 50’s inspired lace gown in a soft shade of pink.  You can choose any color you like for the liner.  We made this gown strapless but it can easily be made with cap sleeves, as a halter or with 3/4 sleeves.

Watters Brides

Our two hottest Watters dresses for this week are the Cheer-from the Watters Brides line and Isadora from the Wtoo line.  The Cheer is a silk satin lush gown with a draped bodice and bustled skirt.  The Isadora is an ethereal gown featuring beautiful beaded feather flowers on the skirt.

The weather outside may be frightful but the creativity inside is delightful.  We have just added three new custom gowns to our bridal gown selection.  A beautiful vintage tea length lace wedding gown.  It is so sweet with a blush of pink beneath the ivory lace.  We’ve added a strapless ivory lace gown with a removable taffeta ballroom skirt.  Lastly, we have a strapless satin rouched gown that is extremely flattering on all body types.  All of our custom gowns can be made to your specifications.  If you want a sweetheart neckline changed into a “V” neck, no problem… longer train, no problem…no train, no problem…puffy 80’s sleeves??  Well now you’ve gone to far!
